Ammonia Operator Responsibilities & Duties

Monitor the ammonia water chiller plant process and adjust controls to regulate levels, pressure, and temperature. Inspect and maintain water chiller equipment to ensure proper functioning. Charging ammonia plant Adhere to safety protocols and environmental regulations while handling ammonia and operating equipment. Record operational data and generate reports for process optimization. Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions and process abnormalities. Coordinate with other team members and departments to ensure seamless operation and product quality.

Ammonia Operator Qualifications & Skills

Experience in chemical processing or a similar industrial environment. Certification or training in ammonia handling and safety. Familiarity with SCADA systems and other process control software. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting. Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude. High school diploma or equivalent. Relevant technical or vocational training in process operation or chemical engineering. Previous experience in operating ammonia water chiller equipment or similar machinery. Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory requirements for ammonia processing. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. Physical capability to perform strenuous tasks and handle hazardous materials. Strong communication skills and the ability to document processes accurately
