Ami Operator
Job Description
Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication, Computer Engineering, or Instrumentation.
Minimum 2-4 years of experience in AMI/AMR systems, smart metering, or related IT/utility operations.
Good understanding of RF, LoRa, and NB-IoT communication technologies used in smart metering.
Experience with Head-End Systems (HES) and Meter Data Management (MDM) platforms preferred.
Proficient in MS Excel, database tools, and basic network troubleshooting.
Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with Kahramaa Smart Metering systems and Qatar utility project standards is an advantage.
Good written and verbal communication skills in English
