Ambulance Driver
Job Description
Drive the ambulance safely and efficiently to transport patients, medical personnel, and equipment to designated locations.
Respond promptly to emergency calls, following GPS navigation and instructions from dispatch.
Assist paramedics and EMTs in loading and unloading patients using stretchers or wheelchairs.
Ensure patients are secured and comfortable during transit, following safety protocols.
Check and maintain the ambulance's condition, fuel level, tire pressure, and cleanliness.
Perform routine checks of medical equipment and supplies; report any malfunctions or shortages.
Ensure compliance with UAE traffic laws, road safety regulations, and emergency vehicle protocols.
Maintain accurate trip logs, including time, mileage, and patient details as required.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, healthcare providers, and emergency personnel.
Support the medical team in non-clinical tasks during emergencies when required.
Maintain patient confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
