The Aluminium Fabricator is responsible for cutting, assembling, welding, and installing aluminium frames, doors, windows, partitions, and related structures as per project requirements. The role requires strong technical skills, accuracy, and the ability to work independently on site or in the workshop.
Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret technical drawings, fabrication sketches, and measurements.
Cut, shape, and assemble aluminium profiles using appropriate tools and machinery.
Fabricate and install aluminium doors, windows, partitions, curtain wall frames, handrails, and other structures.
Operate machines such as cutting saws, drilling machines, punching machines, and welding equipment.
Ensure high-quality finishing--polishing, grinding, fitting accessories, and sealing.
Conduct site measurements and adjust fabrication work accordingly.
Repair, maintain, and replace damaged aluminium frames or hardware when required.
Ensure proper alignment, leveling, and fitting during installation at site.
Follow safety rules and maintain tools, equipment, and workshop cleanliness.
Coordinate with supervisors, site engineers, and other team members for smooth workflow.
Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience as an Aluminium Fabricator (minimum 2-3 years preferred).
Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and measurements accurately.
Skilled in cutting, assembling, fitting, and welding aluminium profiles.
Knowledge of aluminium systems, hardware, and accessories.
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and workshop machinery.
Strong attention to detail, workmanship quality, and time management.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
