Job Title:

Aluminum and UPVC Fabrication & Installation Technician

Job Objective:

To design, fabricate, and install aluminum and UPVC products such as windows, doors, cabinets, and partitions with high accuracy and quality, while also providing maintenance and repair services when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Fabrication:

Receive client requests and provide professional advice on the best available options. Take precise site measurements and determine required materials and tools. Prepare detailed drawings and technical designs according to specifications. Select and prepare appropriate aluminum and UPVC materials.

Installation:

Install frames, windows, doors, cabinets, and other structures with precision. Use appropriate tools and equipment to ensure safe and accurate installations. Ensure proper alignment and secure fittings; make adjustments as needed.

Maintenance & Repair:

Perform periodic maintenance and repairs of aluminum and UPVC products. Replace or repair damaged components as necessary. Troubleshoot and resolve functional or structural issues.

Time & Resource Management:

Adhere to project timelines and delivery schedules. Organize work and delegate tasks if part of a team. Manage tools, materials, and equipment efficiently.

Workplace Safety:

Follow occupational safety and health procedures. Use personal protective equipment (PPE). Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Required Skills:

Technical Skills:

Strong knowledge of aluminum and UPVC properties and installation systems. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Skilled in using various cutting, assembling, and installation tools. Proficient in welding, fitting, and finishing work. Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices.

Personal Skills:

Effective communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Efficient time and resource management. High attention to detail and quality.

Experience:

Preferably 3+ years of hands-on experience in aluminum and UPVC fabrication and installation. Experience working on various types of projects (residential, commercial, industrial). Proficiency in using different tools and machines related to the trade.
