At Sener, within our airports discipline, we carry out consultancy and planning work, modelling and simulation of airport systems, airfields, passenger terminals, hangars, airport development and access, design of airport systems and facilities, electrical installations, signalling and beaconing, air navigation centres, air navigation facilities and systems, and special projects.

What are we looking for? A Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering with a Masters in Airport Design or previous experience in airport design (ICAO, FAA, EASA) OR a Bachelors or Masters degree in Aeronautical engineering with a specialization in airports design. You will also have at least 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position with excellent knowledge in airports design at national and international level. You will also have knowledge of specific airport engineering software such as SIMMOD, AVIPLAN, AEDT, FAARFIELD, COMFAA etc and be comfortable communicating in both written and verbal English. Knowledge of Arabic will be an added advantage. You will also be a go-getter who thrives on finding creative solutions to complex problems.
Some of your daily job responsibilities will be to:

• Prepare and assist in creating various studies and models such as feasibility studies (technical and economic feasibility), aeronautical safety studies, planning studies, Master Plans, airport management models etc.
• Participate in the design of special airport systems such as airfield ground lighting, apron floodlighting, A-VDGS, etc.
• Design of different areas within airport construction such as runways, taxiways, platforms, terminal buildings, control towers etc.
• Any other tasks assigned by the line manager relating to primary area of responsibility.
