Responsibilities:
- Oversee the loading, unloading, and sorting of passenger baggage.
- Ensure all baggage is properly tagged and routed to the correct destinations.
- Operate baggage handling equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.
- Inspect and report any damaged or lost luggage to the appropriate personnel.
- Coordinate with airline staff and ground crew to ensure timely baggage handling.
- Adhere to airport safety protocols and regulations at all times.
- Assist passengers with baggage-related inquiries and issues.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in baggage handling or a related role.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
