Job Description

Summary:
  • Instructors will train foreign military students in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to produce qualified technicians in their assigned specialties who are able to maintain aircraft systems, subsystems, support equipment, and/or provide logistics support and expertise with little or no supervision. Training shall provide students specialty Upgrade Training to elevate skills from 3-level to 5-level, 5-level to 7-level on F-15SA aircraft, Client engines, and associated support services for the following specialty.
  • The AGE Instructor is responsible for performing On-the-Job Training (OJT), administering Career Development Courses as required, and teaching Field Training Detachment courses as required to upgrade RSAF 3-level technicians to 5-level technicians, 5-level technicians to 7-level technicians, and perform other related duties as assigned.
  • The upgrade training will require classroom instruction plus hands-on demonstration and repair on and off the airframe or equipment as required for core and work center tasks in the Career Field Education and Training Plan (CFETP) and/or the Specialty Training Standard (STS).

Responsibilities:
  • Perform all maintenance, modifications, repairs, inspections, and servicing on assigned equipment when requested by the users.
  • Ensure mission essential AGE status is tracked daily.
  • Provide status daily to MOC.
  • Respond to Customer requests to pick-up and deliver AGE.
  • Provide necessary on-the-spot training to users on the proper use of the equipment.
  • Log all equipment pick up and deliveries and ensure this information is available upon request.
  • Prepare AGE for deployments and exercises.
  • Prepare Hazardous Materials for Military Air Shipments.
  • Process and inspect Support Equipment for Storage and Shipment and equipment- specific TOs, to include certifying hazardous declarations on the Shipper's Declaration for Dangerous Goods.
  • All other duties as directed by the Program Manager/Site Manager .

Required educational/skills background:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent.

2. Five (5) years previous experience and seven (7) (craftsman) level in aerospace ground equipment management.

3. Must have driver's license.

4. Previous instructor qualification highly desired.

Physical Demands:

This position requires normal physical functions. Work may require frequent bending, reaching, and climbing. May frequently lift and carry items weighing up to fifty pounds and occasionally lift heavier items with the assistance of other workers. Work may be performed on top or under equipment in cramped or awkward positions. Normal color/depth perception and no record of emotional instability are required.

Work Environment (ADA):

May be required to work in areas in or near a hangar/ flight line that may be noisy at times. May be exposed to moderate discomforts, such as heat, cold and wind. May be required to wear personal protective equipment when in or passing thru a hazardous area.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud at times
