You will have a unique opportunity to be a pioneer in setting up and leading our new Air Freight Division. You will be responsible for establishing the division, hiring and training a dedicated team, and driving sales and revenue growth. This role demands a visionary leader with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and deep knowledge of air freight logistics. Key Responsibilities: 1. Division Establishment: o Develop a comprehensive business plan for the Air Freight Division, outlining objectives, strategies, and timelines for growth. o Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) and workflows for the division. 2. Staffing: o Recruit, hire, and train a team of air freight specialists, including sales executives, operations staff, and customer service representatives. o Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture within the division. 3. Sales and Revenue Generation: o Develop and execute a sales and marketing strategy to acquire new clients and expand the customer base. o Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to drive repeat business and referrals. o Set sales targets and lead the team in achieving revenue goals. 4. Operations Oversight: o Ensure efficient and cost-effective air freight operations, including booking, cargo handling, and customs clearance. o Monitor performance metrics and take corrective actions as needed to optimize operations. 5. Customer Satisfaction: o Prioritize exceptional customer service and ensure that client expectations are consistently met or exceeded. o Address customer inquiries, concerns, and issues in a timely and professional manner. 6. Compliance and Documentation: o Stay up-to-date with air cargo regulations, customs procedures, and industry best practices. o Oversee the accurate and timely completion of all necessary documentation. 7. Financial Management: o Develop and manage the division\'s budget, monitoring expenses and revenue closely. o Implement cost-saving measures and efficiency improvements as appropriate. 8. Reporting and Analysis: o Generate regular reports on division performance, including sales, revenue, and key performance indicators. o Analyse data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
