Exciting Opportunity for Air Drilling Field - Operator Trainee

Purpose of the Role

Support Ali & Sons Oilfield Services (ASOS) operations both at the base and at rig sites. Work under the guidance and supervision of the Operations Manager, Operation Supervisor, and Senior Operator. Ensure the delivery of high-quality services to the client, with an emphasis on service quality, job preparation, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

Operate under the direct supervision of senior air drilling personnel at both the base and rig site. Assist in

rig up and rig down operations

, including safe handling of equipment. Support in

equipment preparation, cleaning, commissioning, and maintenance

activities. Participate in

pressure testing and operations

at the base and rig site. Report inventory and stock levels to the supervisor as needed. Assist in coordinating

travel and transportation logistics

for field deployment. Follow all safety regulations and ensure correct use of

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

. Actively attend and participate in safety meetings and toolbox talks. Report any potential operational or safety concerns to supervisors. Perform other duties as assigned by Senior Operator, Supervisor, or Operations Manager.

Requirements

Education

: Technical diploma or high school certificate. Background in mechanical or engineering disciplines is a plus.

Experience

: Entry-level position - no prior oilfield experience required, but mechanical aptitude is preferred.

Language

: Basic English (required); Arabic is an added advantage.

Physical Fitness

: Ability to work in physically demanding environments for extended periods.

Willingness

to travel and work in remote field locations on rotation.
