AI Engineering Manager - Global Fintech

exceptional AI Engineering Manager

to lead and scale their AI innovation function.



This is a

hands-on leadership role

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Development

Lead the development of advanced AI/ML models, including deep learning, reinforcement learning, and graph neural networks Architect state-of-the-art NLP systems using libraries such as Hugging Face Transformers and spaCy Implement and optimise vector search solutions using platforms like Weaviate, Pinecone, or Milvus Contribute to the design of autonomous and multi-agent systems Work with generative AI models (e.g., GPT, DALL-E, GANs) Apply advanced transformer models (e.g., BERT, T5, ViT) for NLP and computer vision problems

Strategic & Technical Management

Own and drive the AI technology roadmap in alignment with company strategy Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI into multiple business areas Lead architectural decisions for scalable, cloud-based AI systems Oversee multiple AI initiatives and balance resources accordingly

Team & People Leadership

Build and lead a high-performance AI engineering team Mentor and develop engineering talent across all levels Support recruitment and contribute to a culture of innovation and continuous learning

Ideal Candidate

Technical Expertise

Expert-level proficiency in

7+ years of technical experience in AI/ML, with at least 3 years leading engineering teams Track record of delivering enterprise-grade AI solutions Comfortable in Agile environments with strong communication and stakeholder management skills Able to balance technical depth with commercial priorities

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline Recognised contributions to AI projects or research (e.g., publications or open-source work)
