ICB Labs is looking for an

AI 3D Animation Designer

who can combine strong traditional 3D animation skills with

AI-powered motion/animation tools

to create dynamic, realistic character animations and cinematic scenes for our digital projects. You'll work closely with our creative team to develop high-quality animations from concept to final delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Create

high-quality 3D character animations

(realistic and stylized) for digital content and cinematic scenes. Use

AI motion capture / AI animation tools

(e.g., DeepMotion, MoveAI, or similar) to generate and refine movement. Clean up mocap data:

retargeting, keyframe polishing, timing, weight, arcs, and facial/body performance

. Build and manage animation workflows in

Autodesk Maya

and/or

Blender

(rig interaction, constraints, graph editor clean-up). Collaborate with designers, 3D artists, and project leads to ensure animations match the creative direction. Optimize animation assets for performance and final output quality (game/real-time or video pipelines as required). Deliver files in the required formats with proper naming, organization, and version control discipline.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience in

3D character animation

(portfolio required). Strong proficiency with:

Autodesk Maya

Blender

AI-powered animation tools

(DeepMotion, MoveAI, etc.) Solid understanding of the

12 principles of animation

, body mechanics, acting, and timing. Experience with

mocap cleanup and retargeting

workflows. Ability to take feedback, iterate quickly, and meet deadlines. Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Nice to Have (Preferred)

Experience with facial animation and lip-sync (manual or AI-assisted). Knowledge of Unreal Engine / Unity animation pipelines. Experience creating cinematic shots (camera blocking, staging, storytelling). Basic rigging knowledge (enough to troubleshoot common rig issues). Understanding of rendering/lighting basics for preview quality outputs.
