Job Purpose

The Agricultural Engineer will oversee the maintenance of landscaping and softscape areas, ensuring high-quality standards while managing a team of 25-30 workers. The role requires planning, supervising, and executing maintenance operations efficiently, while ensuring safety and productivity. Strong communication skills in English and Hindi are essential for coordinating with workers and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise daily maintenance operations of softscape and landscaped areas Manage a team of 25-30 workers, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and ensuring timely completion Inspect plants, trees, lawns, and irrigation systems; recommend corrective actions as needed Plan and schedule maintenance activities, including planting, pruning, fertilization, watering, and pest control Ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment and machinery Maintain safety, quality, and environmental standards at all times Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams for resources and materials Prepare daily/weekly reports on work progress, manpower, and resource utilization Communicate effectively with workers, team leads, and management in English and Hindi

Requirements & Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural Engineering, Horticulture, or related field Minimum 1-3 years of experience in landscaping, softscape maintenance, or agricultural projects Proven experience in managing a team of 20+ workers Strong knowledge of plants, trees, lawns, irrigation systems, and maintenance practices Excellent communication skills in

English and Hindi

Proficient in preparing reports and maintaining documentation Ability to supervise and motivate a large team effectively Hands-on experience with landscaping equipment and maintenance tools
