As Backyard Farming Coordinator we expect you to coordinate with Client and third party sub-contractors/suppliers. In broad, your job responsibilities will include the following: \xc3\x98 Assess the needs of local clientele in a systematic, analytical, and culturally competent manner. This will include networking and collaborating with community organizations and other relevant groups. \xc3\x98 Use Modern agriculture farming principles & innovative technology skills to meet the needs of clients and surrounding communities for their backyard farming needs. \xc3\x98 Implementing, monitoring & evaluating agriculture programs that encompasses a range of activities such as natural resource management, agribusiness, and agricultural institutional development. \xc3\x98 Supporting activities within the agriculture sector by reviewing and analyzing data, developing strategies, analytical models & methodologies, providing assistance and advice on agricultural development issues. \xc3\x98 Devising a holistic plan based upon the critical assessment of the situation of the farm with alignment of client\xe2\x80\x99s farm utilization goals. \xc3\x98 Develop effective and contemporary approaches to communicate with clientele. This may include constantly evolving electronic technologies (e.g., twitter, Facebook, blogs, e-learning, etc.) used in culturally appropriate ways. \xc3\x98 Evaluate the impact of program initiatives in a planned and statistically relevant fashion. Evaluation plans should focus not only on short-term impacts but also on long-term changes in clientele practices. \xc3\x98 Develop partnerships with the researchers and/or professors and/or other stakeholders to understand the basic types of herbs / crops that can be planted and grown given the climatic conditions and legal requirements like Federal Law on Food Safety etc. and employ innovative approaches to reach clientele and new audiences.
