Job: Agricultural Engineer Location: Liwa, Al Dhafra Western Region, Abu Dhabi, UAE Agricultural Engineer, who will take on responsibility of fertilization and protection for vegetables and flowers. Must have experienced in irrigation water management using scientific approach plants propagation techniques like hydroponics, skills on all aspects of agricultural and horticultural plants and pesticides, specialized in plant disease control, with good background in organic farming. Increase farm production through agricultural engineering methods. Implement agricultural engineer programs to improvise quality standards in agricultural products, especially cultivating vegetables like tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers etc Counsel and educate team and agriculturalists on latest farming issues and techniques. Plan, develop and initiate fertilization programs and harvesting cycles. Develop and manage irrigation processes and issues. Conduct research on latest trends in agricultural engineering and farming aspects. Interact and coordinate with farming professionals, agronomists, agricultural technicians, and farmers. Interact with agricultural vendors clients and government organizations. Ensure compliance of all state and federal agricultural laws and guidelines. Design and develop farming machine, implements and equipment like conveyors and drag chains. Good communication skills in Arabic/English (read, speak, & write), E-mail and MS Office. Designing crop storage facilities, animal, and crop processing, and overseeing the construction and/or setting up of these facilities. Preparing sketches, drawings, proposals, and budgets needed for previously planned agricultural sites. Supervising food processing and manufacturing procedures within a particular farm Designing food processing plants and other related mechanical systems. Must have in-depth knowledge of general agricultural procedures Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Ability to commute/relocate:
