This position will be responsible for coaching, mentoring, and evangelizing Agile best practices across ALSAC's Marketing Division for the purposes of promoting collaboration, transparency and ensuring a consistent approach to planning, execution and the facilitating the delivery of integrated marketing campaigns and enterprise initiatives.
- Requires Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university, minimum of 3 years’ of relevant experience, preferably in a Marketing or Ecommerce environment. One year in an Agile environment preferred.
- Prefer active Certification in at least one of the following professional designations: Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), Certified Team Coach (CTC), SA (SaFE Agilest Certification), or PMI-ACP (Project Management Institute – Agile Certified Practitioner).
- Highly skilled in written and verbal communication, as well as presentation delivery as it relates to Marketing leadership and Executive leadership communication.
- Familiar with tools supporting Agile practices such as, JIRA, Workamajig, Confluence or comparable tools.
- Knowledge – Requires thorough knowledge of general management methods, preferably within non-profit agencies; ability to speak and write in a clear and understanding; having familiarity with various organizational cultures and styles.
- Must be well organized and systematic in work processes, possess excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with groups and in the conduct of meetings; ability to work well individually within a team environment; guide team towards empowerment and self-decision-making as appropriate.
- Must have strong leadership skills and be able to lead Agile teams; exercising strong interpersonal skills. Thorough understanding of Agile methodologies, values, and procedures. Knowledge of patterns and techniques for Agile Frameworks approach (example: burndown techniques, retrospective formats, etc.)
- Experience overseeing delivery of multi-channel (advertising, direct mail, media relations, online, off-line media, multi-media, etc.), cross-functional, strategic marketing campaigns where consistent work management tools and Agile frameworks (Kanban/Scrum) were utilized.
