After sales Engineer
About the Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Aftersales Engineer to join our Spare Parts Department, specializing in costing and pricing. In this role, you will analyze supplier offers, calculate landed costs, and develop competitive pricing strategies to support our aftersales operations. You will play a key role in ensuring profitability, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
o
Analyze and calculate accurate spare parts costing, including supplier prices, freight, and customs.
o
Prepare competitive quotations and ensure alignment with pricing policies and profit targets.
o
Develop and maintain pricing databases and cost comparison tools.
o
Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and finance to ensure accurate landed cost calculations.
o
Support the sales team with technical and pricing input for tenders and service offers.
o
Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and exchange rates to recommend pricing updates.
o
Provide cost and margin analysis reports for management.
o
Review supplier quotations and assist in technical verification of spare parts.
o
Identify opportunities to improve pricing accuracy, cost efficiency, and profitability.
Qualifications:
o
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field).
o
Fresh Graduate or (0-3 years of experience in aftersales, spare parts, costing, or pricing is preferred)
o
Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
o
Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and Excel.
o
Solid understanding of spare parts structures, BOMs, and technical documentation.
o
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
o
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
o
Driving license preferable ( if not available should get in less than 6 months )
Preferred Experience:
o
Background in industrial machinery, heavy equipment, or automotive sectors.
o
Experience with landed cost analysis, import documentation, and pricing models.
o
Familiarity with profitability analysis and reporting tools.
