What you will do:
As an Aftermarket Solutions Rep, you will drive services growth for Resource Industries (RI) delivering the parts \xe2\x80\x9cSales to Users\xe2\x80\x9d business plan in conjunction with growing \xe2\x80\x9cPercentage of Population Sales\xe2\x80\x9d and achieving RI areas of focus targets to capture the lost opportunity.
Most importantly, the job will require acute customer focus at mine site level and strong proximity and coverage (along with dealer) via implementation of key initiatives and projects designed to deliver added value and enhanced customer experience.
Job duties and responsibilities:
This position will cover the East African Dealer territories.
Accountable for achieving Sales to Users\' Business Plans and growing Caterpillar Parts Market Share in designated territory and with each designated dealer.
Prioritized Service Events, connectivity with business partners for designated dealers.
Develop and manage merchandising programs and related budgets with designated dealers to generate incremental growth.
Develop and manage commercial strategies and tactics with designated dealers to drive overall business and generate incremental growth.
Develop and maintain effective internal partner relationships and relationships with account managers, dealers, and customers to achieve parts sales growth.
Travel at least 50% of the time to visit dealers and customers to gain more insights into the business and to provide counselling and advice on their aftermarket business.
Skills you will have:

Products and Services - Working knowledge : Explains key features, benefits, and advantages of current and new products.
Value Selling - Extensive level of experience: Has a clear understanding of customer business needs and how to meet those needs. Coaches\' others on the application of \'value selling\' principles and practices.
Customer focus - Extensive experience: Supports creation of products and services to resolve customer business issues. Fosters strong customer relationships via delivery on commitments, ongoing feedback/improvement, and open communication with the ability to constructively engage diverse audiences.
Degree and experience requirements:
A completed 3-year qualification in a related field will be advantageous.
Must have Mining Industry experience and knowledge, as well as Aftermarket experience in the Mining Industry.
4 - 7 years prior experience in field assignments and have demonstrated the ability to work independently and to communicate effectively with others in the workgroup, dealer personnel, and customers.
Must have prior experience in project management, sales & marketing.
Ability to work on increasingly more complex assignments and provide direction to lower-level reps on project assignments.
Must be fluent in English. French will be advantageous.
