Affluent Banking Market Consultant*

(Contract - Yearly Renewal Long term contract)

Location: Doha (Qatar)

Budget : 15 to 17K QAR

Job Purpose

To conduct in-depth market research and provide actionable insights that support strategic decision-making, product development, and competitive positioning.

To drive growth in the affluent banking segment by providing strategic market insights, client advisory, and business development initiatives that enhance customer acquisition, retention, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to identify opportunities Collect and analyze data on consumers, competitors, and market conditions. Prepare detailed market research reports and presentations for stakeholders Identify emerging trends and forecast market developments Conduct competitor benchmarking and pricing analysis Collaborate with product and marketing teams to align strategies with research insights Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all research outputs Develop and execute strategies to attract and retain affluent clients Provide tailored financial solutions and advisory services

Knowledge of affluent banking products and wealth management Excellent research and data interpretation abilities Effective communication and collaboration skills Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Problem-solving and strategic thinking capabilities Proficiency in CRM systems and digital banking tools Ability to present complex data in a clear and actionable format Attention to detail and accuracy in reporting
Qualifications

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, or related field Professional certifications in market research or analytics preferred
Experience Requirements

Minimum 5-7 years of experience in affluent banking, market research, or data analytics Previous roles involving competitor analysis, trend forecasting, and reporting Previous supportive roles in relationship management, investment advisory, or market analysis Proven track record in business development and client acquisition within the premium segment Experience in supporting strategic initiatives through research insights Proven ability to manage multiple research projects simultaneously
Technical Skills

Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word for reporting and presentations Familiarity with CRM platforms and core banking systems Ability to use data analytics tools (e.g., Cognos, Power BI) for market insights Understanding of digital banking platforms and emerging fintech solutions
Market Research Requirements

Conduct comprehensive competitor analysis to benchmark products and services Identify emerging trends in affluent banking and wealth management Prepare detailed market intelligence reports for strategic decision-making Leverage data analytics tools to interpret market data and forecast opportunities Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on market dynamics Collaborate with product teams to align offerings with market insights
