Objectives of the RoleAesthetic nurse will assist Dermatologist in the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of skin conditions. Dermatology nurses assist in the performance of skin exams, assess a patient's condition and record patients' medical history and test results and follow-up.

Key Job Responsibilities1. Will be primarily focused on chemical peels, facials and lasers (non-ablative lasers). 2. Strong experience with state of the art machines (such as HydraFacial, silk peel dermal fusion, clear and brilliant laser, carbon laser, forma by inmode and micro needling, etc. ) 3. Be familiar with action in urgent situations (anaphylaxis, shock etc.); should be able to assist doctor in case of cardiopulmonary reanimation. 4. Able to provide customized services and treatment to patients (with the guidance of Dermatologist / Cosmetologist). 5. Skills of filling medical documentation, writing form/ PC. Also be able to make before/after patient's photos, take a sign for information lists, gather, and take care of patient's cards and histories. 6. Client care / safety is always a priority. 7. Be able to perform preventive, therapeutic measures prescribed by a cosmetologist. 8. Have a skill of carrying out aesthetic cosmetic procedures, such as facial cleaning, comedo extraction, facial massage, mesorollers etc. 9. Take care of cosmetologists working place, prepare the equipment for work, monitor its safety and serviceability 10. Should be able to prepare clients for procedures (cleaning the working area, applying anesthesia, assisting during the procedure), monitors the patient's condition during the procedure. 11. Provides infectious safety for patients and medical personnel, meets the requirements of infection control, be familiar with aseptic and antiseptic rules 12. Experience in Phlebotomy would be an advantage. 13. Have a comprehensive knowledge and awareness of safe practices. Initiate and lead clinically safe practices within the Clinic team. 14. Have a comprehensive knowledge and deep understanding of psychosocial issues which impact on persons with a skin disease/condition.

Reporting StructureDerma Nurse reports to Dermatologist functionally and will report administrative to Clinic Manager / General Manager. Personal Attributes Qualifications and Experience 1.Qualification - Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university or equivalent as per Oman Ministry of Health guidelines. 2. Diploma / Certificate in any Skin care treatments like Cosmetology will be an added advantage. 3. State of art / latest machine handling certificates are preferred 4. Should have minimum 5 years of continuous work experience in the domain of dermatology and/or cosmetic/aesthetic dermatology. 5. Nationality: Preferably Eastern European with UK / USA / Australian exposure or from the UK / USA / Australia. 6. Attention to detail required in the performance of skin exams and recording of patient's medical histories and test results. 7. Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills. 8. Must be able to speak English. Fluency in spoken Arabic language would be an advantage. 9. Pleasant personality with spoken with smile. 10. Charismatic with positive attitude. 11. Should display professional approach with impeccable integrity, dependability and strong sense and desire to work in a trust-based and team driven environment. Must have proven written and verbal communication skills along with ability to be a proactive and contributory member of a highly professional and motivated management team.
