Job Description

Experience Required:

7+ years of experience in web content management with 3+ years in Adobe AEM (CQ) from both business and technical perspectives.

Should be able to understand functional requirements and convert them into technical solutions and architecture.

Experience with server setup and overall best practices in AEM is required.

Solid understanding of Java / J2EE, JSP in the context of Adobe CQ, Dispatcher, OSGi, and Sling technologies.

Should be able to create custom components and have worked on AEM as a Cloud Service.

Good understanding of software engineering practices including SDLC and Agile methodologies.

Applicants must have excellent communication and organizational skills, object-oriented development skills, documentation skills, self-motivation, project leadership expertise, and strong professionalism and time management skills.



Desired Skills:

Strong hands-on experience with Adobe AEM 6.5 (CQ) and expertise in designing and developing AEM-based web experiences.

Experience with content personalization and targeting using Campaign Management.

Experience with multi-lingual and multi-country implementations.

Proficiency in designing AEM application architecture, content tagging, taxonomy, and content organization.

Experience in extensible and hierarchical component and page design.

Custom widget design and hands-on experience.

Experience with page templates and design templates with multiple levels of client libraries. Experience with Sightly is a plus.

Customization and enhancements on AEM.

Experience with CI/CD pipeline setup and AEMaaCS environment setup.

Strong understanding and experience in OSGi services for various integrations and implementations.

Integration with external applications.

Experience in J2EE, web services (SOAP or REST), and frameworks like Spring, Velocity, iBatis, Hibernate, and other data persistence technologies.

Front-end web development experience in HTML, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery, Bootstrap, and CSS. Experience with AngularJS is a plus.

Technologies: Adobe CQ5 (AEM), Java/J2EE, JSP, ExtJS, JCR, Apache Sling, jQuery, AngularJS, CSS, XPath, JSON, REST API.
