Position Overview

The Advanced Purchasing Buyer - Wiring is responsible for managing purchasing activities for Wiring Programs, securing competitive costs, supplier performance, and supporting program launches in alignment with Engineering, Program Management and Finance teams. The role contributes to purchasing savings, sourcing strategies, and ensures supplier readiness through the full program lifecycle up to SOP.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and support purchasing activities for wiring commodities and programs Secure competitive cost, commercial conditions, and supplier performance Support sourcing strategy, RFQ processes, and negotiations Contribute to cost optimization and purchasing savings initiatives Ensure alignment with cross-functional teams to meet timing, cost, and quality objectives Support supplier readiness and program milestones up to SOP Monitor suppliers' performance and resolve commercial issues

Key Skills & Qualifications

Degree in Engineering, Economics, Supply Chain or related field Experience in Purchasing / Procurement (automotive is an advantage) Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills Ability to work in multicultural and cross-functional environments Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
