Advanced Project Engineer

The Telecom Technical Lead candidate must have proven experience Designing, Configuring, Implementing, Testing, and Documenting Honeywell Security Solutions, PAGA Solution and Convergent Networks (Data, Voice, and Video) for LAN, WAN and WLAN. The candidate must be able to lead a Team of Engineers to develop Telecom Proposals and Projects following RFQ Specifications.

Key responsibilities

Design, Configuration and Implementation of Honeywell EBI-Temaline Access Control System, Digital Video Manager and Intrusion Detection System

Design, Configuration and Implementation of Convergent Networks (Data, Voice, and Video)

Network and infrastructure design, configuration, implementation, testing and documentation.

Design network infrastructure composed of Switches, Routers and Firewalls.

Design, configure, implement, test and develop documentation for Telecom and Industrial Security projects.

Design, Configuration and Implementation of Wireless Networks

Experience in implementing PAGA, Tetra/DMR and Microwave Radio Projects.

Develop conceptual designs and documenting budgetary or firm estimates on tight deadlines with limited information.

Make and document all assumptions during proposal/project development

Coordinate with the proposal/project team, including other Systems Specialists

Compose proposal and project documentation following customer specifications

Work within the limits of the project specifications, and scope of work.

Develop bill of materials, clarification, and exceptions.

Understand when/where standards can/cannot be used and why design deviations would be used or recommended for a Network Design

Implement and configure the Industrial Security ad Network Equipment's in Industrial Environments.

Key skills and qualifications

BS Degree in Engineering

10+ Years of Experience in Designing & Specifying Honeywell EBI, DVM and Temaline Access Control Systems for Industrial Environments.

10+ Years of Experience in Designing & Specifying PAGA, LAN, WAN, WLAN Networks and VOIP Solutions for Industrial Environments.

Hands on Experience configuring Network Switches and Routers

Experience with Palo Alto / Fortinet Firewalls is a plus

Very strong Layer 2 & 3 Networking skills.

Expertise on Wireless Networks

Experience with RFQ specifications and estimating network equipment.

Proficiency in Auto CAD and Visio.

Expertise on Microwave, Trunking Radio is a plus

Expertise on VoIP is a plus

Expertise in QoS is a plus.

Experience working in Industrial Environments is a Plus.

Knowledge in the use of Personal Protection Equipment is a Plus
