As an Advanced Engineering Support Specialist here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in providing advanced engineering support for various projects and initiatives. You will lead and manage a team of engineers, ensuring the successful execution of engineering support activities and the delivery of high-quality solutions. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute project plans, ensuring that all engineering support requirements are met.


In this role, you will have a significant impact on the success of our engineering support operations. You will be responsible for managing a team of support specialists, providing guidance and support to resolve complex customer issues, and driving improvements in our support processes.

Key Responsibilities

Engineer high level designs using the best of breed technology to support Honeywell systems, including Virtualisation Architecture, Storage Architecture and Network Architecture. Have a good understanding of networks, network principles and IT industry processes and procedures including configuration management and change management. Protect the integrity of the Honeywell implemented software, server and network infrastructure and services. understanding of architecting and maintaining VLANs, SANs, WANs and LANs. Provide structured cabling Backbone design suitable for Data Center Network Architectures, in building and Campus. handling Mega and GIGA projects budgeting and technical analysis. judge and recommend pros and cons and cost effectiveness of the solution provided. Interact with other departments such as sales, presales, and procurement to provide a full and complete solution using other Honeywell products.

YOU MUST HAVE

8 - 10 Years Experience in presales or solution consulting roles Technical Diploma and/or Tertiary Education / bachelor's degree in information technology/systems or computer science (Essential). o Certification and/or Training in relevant ICT industry technologies such as CCNA (Cisco), MCSA (Microsoft), Aruba, VCP-DCV, vSAN (VMware), EMC VNX, ITP, Microsoft AD / SQL Bachelor's degree in information technology/ computer engineering OR Equivalent Technical level certifications from leading networking vendors minimum CCNP Level core, switching & routing, data Center, and cyber security or equivalent in different technology domains, CCIE are strongly recommended Technical experiences in networking IOT and IT, with hands-on experiences on switching, routing, wireless calculations, heat mapping, and collaboration solutions. Technical experience in cyber security scopes, and datacentre security solutions such as firewalls, proxies, VPN, SIEM, and others. Technical experience is virtualization and storage calculations for IT and IOT environment Strong influencing leadership, presentation, and technical write-up skills with strong oral and written communication skills. Experience in generating RFP, RFI, RFQs as well as responding to them. Ability to generate BOQ, HLD, LLD and other technical documents for proposals and project life cycle. Well versed with different vendor equipment and technologies especially in cisco, Aruba, extreme, Nokia, and ruckus, PaloAlto, Fortinet, Dell, and HP. Capability to understand and analyse complex requirements. In-depth understanding of Enterprise Networking products, solutions, and strategy. Strong understanding of Enterprise Networking market trends and challenges. Possesses deep understanding of complex technical sales engagements and takes actions accordingly to ensure project success.

Experience implementing Honeywell's integrated product offerings and solutions and/or industry building automation software and solutions. Demonstrated financial, business, commercial and contractual acumen and experience. Understanding of building support systems such as BMS, Security and CCTV. Experience in implementing IT solutions and working IT Datacentres with vendors in a construction project environment. Experience in the implementation of ITIL practices, continuous improvement and client focused service delivery standards and methodologies in large and complex organisations. Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
