Aldar Academies is seeking a Administrative Assistant for Al Muna Academy, Abu Dhabi commencing immediately.

Al Muna Academy is in the heart of the city of Abu Dhabi and was recently rated 'Outstanding' by ADEK - Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK) Serving over 700 students from Nursery - Year 6 we follow the National Curriculum of England. The school a vibrant community.

Responsibilities:

Attend all administration team meetings. Typing and branding of official documents and letters to parents. Receiving, directing and responding to emails of behalf of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) as appropriate. Liaise with teaching and non-teaching staff and respond to enquiries on matters within the postholder's responsibility. Design new documents, where necessary, to improve Academy's effectiveness. Attend any training deemed necessary in relation to the role of Admin support. Supporting the Registrar in adding student data on ESIS. Administering the Engage system such as compiling engage rollover reports on excel, entering data into the system (students' and teachers' allocation to classrooms/divisions, creating, renaming, deleting divisions/classes for new Academic Year etc.) Responsible to be part of the covid related communications and reporting. Mail merge letters to provide a more personalised service for parents and attached to DMS system. Responsible for communications to parents, where appropriate. Process any student leavers forms for whole school, update Engage and forward to Admissions. Assist GRE and admin team with admin tasks including but not limited to ADEK compliance, communication, reports, translations, drafting, etc. Supporting receptionist in attending to visitors, parents, answering calls, updating student attendance information such as late comers and early leavers. Covering reception when receptionist is on breaks or on leave, including rotational leave cover. Performs a variety of admin and clerical support work which supports school (staff and student) compliance in line with ADEK and school requirements. Assist with any operational or educational related tasks upon the request by SLT.

Minimum Qualifications: Secondary School certificate. Bachelor's degree preferred.

Minimum Experience: Two years' experience in a similar role preferably in Education sector.
