The HR Officer is responsible for managing and supporting various HR functions, including employee relations, payroll processing, visa and immigration documentation, and general administrative duties. This role ensures compliance with UAE labor laws and company policies, fostering a positive work environment and efficient HR operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Employee Relations
Serve as the primary point of contact for employee concerns, addressing grievances and resolving conflicts in a timely and professional manner.
Support the implementation of employee engagement initiatives to enhance workplace morale and productivity.
Assist in conducting investigations related to workplace issues, ensuring adherence to company policies and UAE labor laws.
Provide guidance to employees and management on HR policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
2. Payroll Administration
Oversee the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely salary disbursements in compliance with UAE labor laws.
Calculate and process various employee compensations, including overtime, bonuses, and allowances.
Maintain and update payroll records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
Generate and submit payroll reports to relevant authorities as required.
3. Visa & Immigration Documentation
Manage the visa application, renewal, and cancellation processes for employees, including employment visas, residency permits, and labor cards.
Coordinate with government authorities (e.g., Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs) for visa and work permit-related matters.
Ensure timely renewal of visas and work permits to avoid penalties.
Guide new employees through the UAE visa and immigration process, including medical examinations and Emirates ID applications.
4. HR Administration & Compliance
Maintain and update employee records in HR databases, ensuring accuracy and compliance with UAE labor laws.
Prepare HR reports and documentation for management.
Handle employee queries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and HR regulations.
Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and training sessions.
Manage HR-related correspondence and documentation, ensuring confidentiality of sensitive employee information.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in HR administration or a similar role, with a strong understanding of UAE labor laws and compliance requirements.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Experience with HR software or payroll systems is a plus.
Additional Responsibilities:
Assist in performance management processes, including appraisals, feedback, and development plans.
Coordinate employee training and development programs.
Ensure effective communication between HR and other departments
