Job Description

As an Authority Liaison Architect, will be responsible for a variety of tasks to aid our engineering team and support for a major project or possibly multiple projects. Requirement:

• Bachelors' degree in Arch or any relevant engineering discipline
• 2 - 4 years experience in liaising and dealing with the approval process for villas, buildings, infrastructure, fit out projects with the specific statutory relevant authorities / stakeholders in Abu Dhabi Emirate
• Have crystal clear understanding of Authority processes, procedures and policies and ensure that these are adhered to during the design submission and review process
• Broad technical understanding of villas, building, infrastructure and fitout project sub-disciplines
• Proficient in using CAD
• Candidate must have an ADM Architectural Engineer Registration Card (Practicing Engineer Category)

Other (Preferable) Requirement:

• Technical Bid Evaluation
• Construction Contractual writing skill with fair knowledge of FIDIC Clauses
• Ability to handle, review and respond to Contractor Submittals, RFI, SCR
• Ability to identify and address Project variation scope and change management with claim strategy
• Ability to effectively communicate at all levels including external stakeholders
• Go-getter and ever positive attitude that focuses on improving team work and co-operation at all times
• Focused, result-oriented, high attention to detail and eye for technical excellence
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with high competency in listening and communicating
• Time management ability, competence in prioritizing tasks and workload
• Preferably Arabic speaking, however, not mandatory
