Job Summary:
American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK), Department of Computer Science and Engineering, invites applications for an adjunct faculty position beginning Spring 2024 (January). Candidates for this position must hold a Ph.D in Computer Science or a related computing major. The successful candidate is expected to teach the following undergraduate labs: Data Structures and Algorithms and Operating Systems.:

Required Qualifications:- Ph.D. in the area of Computer Science or a related computing major from an accredited institution of higher education
- Strong record of active engagement in research and scholarship, including recent publications
- University teaching experience
- Excellent English oral and written communication skills
- Commitment to excellence in teaching, including the use of high-impact educational practices
- Ability and willingness to work collaboratively with faculty from a variety of disciplines
- Familiarity with ABET accreditation requirements
