The Role

We are seeking an Adjunct Faculty member in

Electrical Engineering

to deliver high-quality teaching and support student learning on undergraduate programmes. The role includes:

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Prepare and deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and assessments in

Introduction to Electrical Principles

and

Mathematics

. Support students in their academic development through guidance, feedback, and mentoring. Contribute to the design and enhancement of course materials and assessments, ensuring alignment with academic standards. Participate in the University's quality assurance processes and adhere to academic policies. Work collaboratively with colleagues and students, upholding the values of DMU Dubai.

Module Coverage

: Introduction to Electrical Principles and Mathematics

Teaching Load

: 8 hours per week

Candidate Requirements

Qualifications

Master's degree in

Electrical Engineering

(PhD preferred). Attested qualifications

with UAE Ministry of Education equivalency (mandatory requirement)

Experience

2-4 years of teaching experience at undergraduate level, ideally within UK or transnational higher education contexts. Strong subject knowledge in

electrical principles

and

applied mathematics

.

Knowledge & Skills

Ability to deliver high-quality, student-centred teaching and assessment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Commitment to academic excellence, inclusivity, and innovative teaching practices.
