Job Summary:

Water Pipeline Engineer will support the planning, execution, and infrastructure projects within TAQA's LTRA division, which includes pipelines, transmission lines, and associated receiving facilities. The role ensures all engineering and construction activities are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory standards and TAQA's quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate all phases of assigned projects from engineering design through construction and commissioning. Provide technical input on pipeline routing, materials selection, station/terminal layouts, and related infrastructure. Develop and maintain project schedules, resource plans, and budgets in collaboration with the project management team. Ensure designs and specifications meet industry standards and TAQA's operational and HSE requirements. Liaise with contractors, consultants, regulatory bodies, and internal departments to ensure timely project execution. Conduct site inspections, monitor construction activities, and ensure quality control and adherence to safety standards. Prepare technical reports, progress updates, risk assessments, and project documentation. Assist in commissioning plans, handover packages, and integration of new assets into existing systems. Promote and ensure the implementation of best practices in project execution and asset lifecycle planning.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or Pipeline Engineering or a related field.

Experience:

Min 4 years of experience in project engineering related to LTRA (TAQA) Proven experience in LTRA projects such as pipeline networks, transmission lines, or similar utility systems. Familiarity with UAE regulatory and permitting processes is preferred.
