Center for People with Disabilities in Qatar
is seeking adedicated and qualified Adapted Physical Education Teacher
to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about promoting physical activity, inclusion, and overall well-being among individuals with disabilities through evidence-based and creative teaching approaches.Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or certification in
Physical Education
,Adaptive Physical Activity
,Sports Coaching
, or a related field. Proven experience working with individuals with disabilities in educational, therapeutic, or community-based settings. Strong understanding of adaptive physical education principles and inclusive coaching methods. Excellent communication, patience, creativity, and teamwork skills.Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive physical education lessons and sports activities tailored to meet diverse physical, intellectual, and sensory needs.
Adapt sports techniques, rules, and equipment to ensure safe and meaningful participation for all learners.
Foster a positive, motivating, and supportive learning environment that encourages participation, teamwork, and personal growth.
Collaborate closely with educators, therapists, and families to support individual development plans and holistic progress.
Assess, monitor, and document students' performance, setting realistic and measurable goals for improvement.
