Job Responsibilities:
- Preparing quotations and proforma invoices, and on receiving the sales orders, posting in the system.
- Performing day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivable data.
- Processing, verifying, and posting receipts for goods sold or services rendered in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Preparing invoices, credit notes, debit notes, and bank deposits and posting them into the system.
- Posting production journals and inventory reconciliation.
- Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
- Obtaining information from other departments to ensure records are accurate and complete and that accounts receivable ledgers and journals are up to date.
- Performing administrative and clerical tasks, such as data entry, preparing invoices, sending bill reminders, filing paperwork, and passing expense journals.
- Generate weekly and monthly accounts receivable reports and send weekly reminder emails to the customers.
- Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status.
- Researching and resolving accounting discrepancies.
- Perform other responsibilities associated with this position or assigned by the management.
Job Requirements:
- Multi-currency and cross-currency transaction handling experience must be required (USD, GBP, EURO, CNY, AED, and INR).
- Proficient in Tally ERP system, MS Office, and the Internet.
- Minimum 3 years of accounts receivable and general accounting experience.
- Must have experience working in the trading industry.
