Role Summary
voco Dubai is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Supervisor to lead the hotel's billing, collections, and credit management functions. This role ensures accurate invoicing, timely collections, and compliance with financial standards while supporting the Finance team in maintaining smooth operations and strong customer relationships.

What You'll Do

• Oversee all billing processes including direct bill accounts, group invoices, and commissions
• Review and reconcile daily revenue postings between the PMS and financial systems
• Monitor customer accounts and resolve billing disputes quickly and professionally
• Manage aging reports, follow up on outstanding balances, and enforce hotel credit policies
• Approve or recommend credit applications based on risk assessments
• Prepare accounts receivable reports including aging analysis and collection performance
• Support month-end closing, reconciliations, and revenue audits
• Provide documentation for internal and external audits
• Supervise and mentor accounts receivable staff, ensuring deadlines and accuracy are met
• Train team members in billing procedures, systems, and customer service standards
• Collaborate with Sales, Front Office, and Events teams for accurate billing and documentation

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, or similar) is an advantage
• 3-5 years of accounts receivable experience, preferably in hospitality
• At least 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership role
• Familiarity with Opera, Sun Systems, or similar hotel/finance systems
• Strong knowledge of billing, collections, and credit management
• Advanced Excel and financial reporting skills
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication abilities
• Customer-focused with problem-solving skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines
