Role Summary
The Accounts Payable / General Cashier plays a key role in managing the hotel's financial accuracy and integrity. The position includes verifying vendor invoices, processing payments, reconciling accounts, and handling all cash-related transactions with precision and compliance.
Key Responsibilities

• Review and process vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and purchase orders.
• Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents to ensure accuracy.
• Prepare payment runs through checks, bank transfers, or wire payments.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain organized and accurate records of all accounts payable transactions.
• Assist in month-end closings, accruals, and preparation of financial reports.
• Ensure all payments and accounting activities adhere to company policies and tax regulations.
• Handle vendor inquiries professionally and maintain strong relationships.
• Collect, verify, and record daily cash and credit card transactions.
• Prepare and submit daily cash summaries and reports to management.
• Reconcile petty cash funds and issue reimbursements as authorized.
• Monitor cash floats, prepare daily deposits, and ensure proper safekeeping of all funds.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in accounts payable or general cashiering, preferably in hospitality.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial controls.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks.
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
• Knowledge of UAE accounting practices and tax regulations is an advantage.
• Additional language proficiency is a plus.
