Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Accounts Payable at Green Line Electromechanical L.L.C. in Abu Dhabi. He will be responsible for overseeing accounts payable to the sub contractor.

Process and verify supplier, subcontractor, and service provider invoices related to MEP projects Match invoices with Purchase Orders (PO), Delivery Notes (DN), and subcontract agreements Ensure correct allocation of costs to projects, cost codes, and departments Prepare payment schedules in line with approved cash flow and project timelines Maintain accurate vendor and subcontractor records. Coordinate with project managers, and site engineers to resolve invoice discrepancies Handle subcontractor progress payments, retention, advance recovery, and final settlements Respond to supplier and subcontractor payment inquiries professionally Ensure invoices comply with contract terms, tax regulations, and company policies Maintain organized records of invoices, approvals, and payment vouchers Assist in audit requirements by providing supporting documents Monitor VAT / tax compliance related to payables (if applicable) Prepare AP aging reports and highlight overdue or critical payments. Reconcile supplier statements and resolve differences. Support month-end closing activities related to payables. Assist in cost control by flagging unusual or unbudgeted expenses. Enter AP transactions accurately into ERP/accounting systems. Support continuous improvement of AP processes and internal controls. Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of financial data.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 3-5 years of Accounts Payable experience, preferably in

MEP, construction, or contracting companies

Strong understanding of project-based accounting and cost allocation
