As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Manager to oversee all accounting and financial functions of the company. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of UAE VAT regulations, financial reporting standards, and car rental industry practices.
Position Overview
The Accounts Manager will be fully responsible for managing the company's complete accounting cycle up to finalization. This includes VAT accounting, financial reporting, general ledger maintenance, payroll verification, supplier payment approvals, and financial analysis. The role requires precision, integrity, and the ability to deliver timely and error-free financial information to support management decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Fully responsible for VAT accounting, reconciliation, and return filing in compliance with UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) regulations.
Finalize company accounts and produce accurate, error-free monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Maintain the general ledger and all related accounts with proper documentation for every company transaction.
Prepare, review, and monitor billing and collection reports, ensuring timely invoicing and customer follow-up.
Maintain and update fixed asset registers, determine appropriate depreciation rates, and ensure proper capitalization of assets.
Verify and approve monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy in salary computation, deductions, and timely transfers to employees.
Prepare and maintain cash flow analyses to manage liquidity and ensure smooth financial operations.
Analyze and prepare monthly financial statements including the balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement.
Verify supplier balances and endorse payment requests after due validation and reconciliation.
Monitor accounts receivable and payable, ensuring efficient credit control and supplier management.
Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and banks to ensure timely compliance and reporting.
Implement and maintain internal control systems to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
Provide management with financial insights and forecasts to support operational and strategic decisions.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's preferred).
Professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent) is an advantage.
Minimum of 5-7 years of accounting experience, preferably within the automotive, rental, or service industry in the UAE.
Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws, FTA compliance, and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Tally, Zoho Books, or ERP systems.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
