1. JOB ROLE:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Accounts Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, preparing financial reports, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and supporting the finance team in various projects.

Summary:

Responsibilities:

Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. Handle monthly closings and prepare monthly financial reports. Ensure timely bank payments and communicate with banks regarding account management and updates. Prepare and manage corporate tax, ESR, and VAT calendars and ensure timely filing and payments. Collaborate with external tax advisors on tax treatment of complex transactions. Provide information to external auditors during financial statement audits. Ensure adherence to financial policies, IFRS principles, UAE VAT laws, and FTA regulations. Lead monthly financial closings, analyzing P&L and balance sheet against budget targets. Participate in annual budget formulation, focusing on cost-efficiency and variance analysis. Manage the full accounting cycle including AP, AR, VAT returns, and cash flow. Evaluate business expansion proposals and provide financial insights for strategic decision-making. Negotiate key franchise and rental agreements, overseeing financial and legal aspects. Generate comprehensive MIS reports to support management decisions. Ensure timely banking compliance on a regular basis.

Qualifications:

CA/CPA/ACCA Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar accounting role. Proven experience in managing all aspects of the accounting cycle. Strong understanding of IFRS, UAE VAT laws, Corporate Tax regulations, and FTA requirements. Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and variance analysis. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Proficient in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
