We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts and Finance Employee to join our team. This role will focus on maintaining accurate financial records for both the UAE and KSA regions using ODOO and Zoho, while managing the complete accounts receivable and accounts payable processes. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of tax regulations in both regions and be able to ensure compliance with local laws.
Key Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping & Financial Record Maintenance:
+ Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for UAE and KSA in ODOO and Zoho.
+ Post journal entries, process transactions, and ensure accuracy in the ledger.
+ Prepare trial balances, balance sheets, and income statements.
Accounts Receivable Management:
+ Manage the complete accounts receivable cycle from invoicing to collection.
+ Follow up on overdue invoices and handle customer communications related to payments.
+ Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
+ Ensure timely processing of receipts and prepare aging reports.
Accounts Payable Management:
+ Oversee the full accounts payable cycle, including receiving invoices, verifying approvals, and ensuring timely payment processing.
+ Coordinate with vendors and resolve any payment discrepancies.
+ Prepare payments and ensure they are processed in accordance with company policies.
+ Manage and maintain supplier accounts.
Tax Compliance (UAE & KSA):
+ Ensure compliance with VAT and other applicable taxes in the UAE and KSA.
+ Prepare and submit tax filings (e.g., VAT returns) within the deadlines.
+ Keep updated with changes in tax laws and regulations for both regions.
+ Assist in tax audits and liaise with relevant authorities when required.
Financial Reporting & Analysis:
+ Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports.
+ Analyze financial data and provide insights into business performance.
+ Support management in budgeting and forecasting activities.
System Administration (ODDO & Zoho):
+ Manage the accounting modules in ODOO and Zoho, ensuring proper system setup, user access, and security.
+ Ensure smooth integration of accounting processes with other business operations within the systems.
+ Train and support staff on using ODOO and Zoho for finance-related tasks.
Bank Reconciliations:
+ Reconcile bank accounts on a monthly basis.
+ Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded and matched with the bank statements.
Skills & Qualifications:
ACCA, CA Inter, Masters in Accounts and Finance
