We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced

Account and Audit Assistant

to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate must have

mandatory experience in the UAE

and possess

excellent knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and Corporate Tax laws

. This role involves supporting the accounting and audit functions to ensure accuracy and compliance with local financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger entries. Prepare and maintain financial records, reports, and documentation in compliance with UAE accounting standards. Support the external and internal audit process by gathering and preparing required audit documentation. Ensure accurate and timely VAT filings and handle all VAT-related matters in accordance with UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) guidelines. Provide support in the preparation and submission of UAE Corporate Tax returns and compliance with new tax laws. Conduct regular reconciliation of bank statements, ledgers, and financial records. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis tasks. Stay updated on changes in UAE tax laws, accounting standards, and financial regulations. Collaborate with the finance and audit team to enhance internal controls and improve financial processes.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum 2 years of accounting and/or audit experience in the UAE

is

mandatory

. Strong understanding and hands-on experience with

UAE VAT

regulations and

Corporate Tax

compliance. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho, or ERP systems). Excellent analytical, organizational, and time-management skills. Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment. Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CA) is a plus.
