Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

Monitoring daily communications and answering any queries. Preparing statutory accounts. Ensuring payments, amounts and records are correct. Working with spreadsheets, sales and purchase ledgers and journals. Recording and filing cash transactions. Controlling credit and chasing debt. Invoice processing and filing. Processing expense requests for the accountant to approve. Bank reconciliation. Liaising with third party providers, clients and suppliers. Updating and maintaining procedural documentation Issue invoices to customers and external partners, as needed Review and file payroll documents Participate in quarterly and annual audits

Requirements and Qualifications:

To be considered for this job, you need to meet the following criteria:

Work experience as an Accounting Assistant or Accounting Clerk Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures Familiarity with finance regulations Good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors Hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks) Organization skills Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
