Maintain accurate financial records, including ledger entries, reconciliations, and journal entries.
Accounts Payable and Receivable:
Process invoices, payments, and receipts. Monitor overdue accounts and follow up with customers or vendors as needed.
Banking and Cash Management:
Handle bank deposits, withdrawals, and bank reconciliations. Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow statements.
Financial Reporting:
Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and budgets. Provide support during audits.
Payroll Administration:
Assist in processing payroll, including calculations of deductions, bonuses, and taxes.
Administrative Support:
Provide general administrative support to the finance department, such as filing documents, responding to inquiries, and maintaining records.
Compliance:
Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulations.
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).
Proven experience as an Account Assistant or similar role.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NAV) and MS Office, especially Excel.
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reports.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work under deadlines.
