Company Overview:
A new casual dining restaurant opening in the Jumeirah area of Dubai. The restaurant offers a modern, family-friendly dining experience with authentic kebabs, grills, and Mediterranean-style dishes. The business is in its pre-opening stage and needs support to establish simple purchasing, documentation, and inventory controls before and after launch.
Position Overview:
A basic junior role supporting daily accounting, purchasing, and stock recording. The candidate will work directly with management and operations staff to maintain simple financial entries, track purchases, and help control stock.
Main Responsibilities:
- Enter purchase invoices, delivery notes, and expenses into Excel or basic accounting software.
- Keep financial and purchasing documents organized and up to date.
- Prepare simple purchase orders based on stock and requisition needs.
- Follow up with suppliers for deliveries, prices, and product availability.
- Maintain basic supplier records and price lists.
- Record stock movements such as goods received, consumption, and wastage.
- Assist in weekly or monthly stock counts for food, beverages, and consumables.
- Help highlight variances and support cost control.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Diploma or certificate in Accounting, Business, or related field.
- 0-2 years of experience (hospitality experience is an advantage).
- Basic understanding of accounting and inventory principles.
- Good Excel and computer skills.
- Organized, accurate, and willing to learn.
