Job Description

The Accounts Assistant supports the finance team with daily accounting tasks, ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial records, invoices, payments, and reports.

Key Responsibilities:



Maintain and update accounting records, ledgers, and financial statements. Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. Process invoices, bills, expense claims, and payment vouchers. Reconcile bank statements, supplier statements, and company accounts. Support month-end and year-end closing activities. Prepare and maintain spreadsheets, reports, and financial summaries. Assist with audit requirements by providing necessary documentation. Manage petty cash and ensure proper documentation. Respond to internal and external financial inquiries professionally. Perform general administrative support for the finance department.

Skills & Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred). Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures. Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP). Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and numerical skills.

Experience:



1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance (fresh graduates may apply).

Work Environment:



Office-based role with regular interaction with finance and administrative teams.
