The ideal candidate should have a background in
shipping, freight forwarding, or customs clearance
.
Responsibilities:
Managing accounts payable and receivable
Preparing invoices, statements, and payment reconciliations
Handling supplier and client payments
Monitoring project expenses and ensuring accurate reporting
Coordinating with operations and management teams
Assisting with VAT filing and financial documentation
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in a shipping, logistics, or freight forwarding company
Good knowledge of UAE VAT and general accounting principles
Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks / Tally / Zoho or similar)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication skills in English
Location:
Business Bay, Dubai
Working days:
Monday to Friday (Sunday optional)
