We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and supporting the company's financial operations. A strong background in receivables and payables is essential, along with experience in the UAE market. Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) is highly advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, invoices, and payments.
Ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations and company policies.
Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
Generate financial reports and statements to support management decisions.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits.
Provide support for other finance-related tasks as required.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
3-5 years of accounting experience in the UAE, with expertise in receivables and payables.
Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) is a strong advantage.
In-depth knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and accounting practices.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
