Manage day-to-day accounting operations including journal entries, invoicing, payables, receivables, and bank reconciliation.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Monitor project budgets, track cost allocations, and coordinate with project managers to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Handle subcontractor payments, material cost tracking, and verify supplier invoices against LPOs and delivery notes.
Maintain petty cash, ensure proper documentation, and conduct regular audits for accuracy.
Oversee payroll preparation, leave settlements, and end-of-service calculations.
Prepare VAT filings, ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations, and maintain proper documentation.
Assist in cash flow forecasting and financial analysis for ongoing and upcoming fit-out projects.
Coordinate with external auditors and support audit requirements.
Implement internal controls and ensure proper filing and record-keeping of financial documents.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum
3-5 years of accounting experience
, preferably in a
fit-out, construction, or contracting
company.
Strong knowledge of project accounting, job costing, and budget control.
Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks, Tally, or ERP systems).
Solid understanding of UAE VAT laws and compliance.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple project accounts simultaneously.
Excellent communication and coordination skills with project teams and suppliers.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
