Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate books of accounts including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
Handle bank reconciliations, payroll, and expense management.
Assist in preparing VAT returns and ensuring compliance with UAE tax regulations.
Monitor project costs and prepare cost reports for ongoing construction projects.
Support external audits and coordinate with auditors as required.
Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing activities.
Collaborate with project managers and procurement teams for financial tracking.
Requirements:
Minimum 2-3 years of UAE experience in accounting (mandatory).
Background in the Construction Industry (mandatory).
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent is an advantage).
Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws and accounting standards.
Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, ERP systems).
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
