Accountant
Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage our financial records, ensure compliance with statutory regulations, and assist in financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, proficiency with accounting software, and the ability to work accurately under deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records and financial statements.
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
Manage accounts payable and receivable.
Ensure compliance with tax laws and statutory requirements.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
Prepare financial reports and assist in budgeting and forecasting.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial data.
Collaborate with other departments to support financial processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or CA (preferred).
2+ years of relevant accounting experience.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
Strong knowledge of accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS).
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
Good communication and organizational skills.
