General Accountant - Insurance Brokerage

AED 10,000 - 12,000 + benefits

We are working with a well-established insurance brokerage in Dubai who are seeking a General Accountant to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced accounting professional with a background in the insurance sector to take ownership of all aspects of financial accounting within the business. Experience working as an accountant for an insurance brokerage is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations and financial records
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Oversee accounts payable, receivable, reconciliations, and reporting
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and regulatory requirements
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Liaise with auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies as required
- 3-4 years' experience as an Accountant within an insurance brokerage (mandatory)
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and UAE VAT
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
- Available to start immediately or at short notice
