Job Description

:

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Daily receipt postings for General and Trust accts
  • Coordinating with Credit Control Team on fund allocation
  • Handles matter to matter transfers
  • Performs monthly Bank reconciliation
  • Prepares bank transfer for funds received in Gen receipt to Trust account
  • Attends and responds to the queries related to incoming and unallocated funds.
  • Communicates with the bank on issues related to incoming funds
  • Update PDC record
  • Prepares and issue receipts when required
  • Daily update of cheque deposits
  • Coordinate with Credit Control/Revenue Team related to allocation/BOA/credit notes and systems related issues
Requirements & Personal Attributes
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Accounting / Finance
  • Min. 3 years\' experience in accounting preferably in a law firm
  • Experience in GL reconciliations
  • Experience in Excel
  • Committed / Detail Oriented/ Collaborative / Accuracy / Problem Solving / Flexible / Trustworthy / Good communication skills / Analytical
Relationships
  • Maintain both internal and external relationships. Lawyers, Secretaries/Finance Team/Management/Clients/Bankers
